It may be slow, but it's a progress and that's all that matters now. I've completed (more or less) the whole 1st level - see the embedded video.
I've added new weapon - rocket launcher, some particle effects, drawn new scene, optimised large chunks of code, etc, and now I can finally say I'm making some progress. Playable demo coming soon, with bunch of new stuff added.
